Dr. Michael McCombs
has been treating patients for over 30 years and has created many thousands of beautiful smiles. Dr. McCombs graduated from the University of Pittsburgh Dental School and completed
his Orthodontic Residency at Georgetown University. Dr. McCombs was
recently selected as one the top orthodontists in the Washington area
by Washingtonian, and Northern Virginia Living
magazines. He lectured internationally on orthodontics, and, as part of
"Operation Smile," has also traveled to Kenya, Thailand, the
Philippines, Jordan, Nicaragua, and Cambodia to treat cleft palate
patients. Dr. McCombs is a member of the American Association of
Orthodontists.
Dr. McCombs stays on the cutting edge of orthodontics by far exceeding the annual number of continuing education hours required by the Virginia Board of Dentistry. Current state-of-the-art orthodontic practices such as Invisalign are second nature to Dr. McCombs. Dr. McCombs has lived in Northern Virginia for almost 40 years. He enjoys skiing, music, traveling and spending time with his family.
